Saputara is a lesser known hill town just across the Maharashtra border in Gujarat (Gujarat’s only hill station). Unlike any other hill station, it has everything – from lake to sunset point, horse/camel rides, ropeway, valley view, amusement, gardens, museum and shopping areas. This picturesque hill station is perched on a plateau in the Dang forest area of the Sahyadri Range. It has a cool bracing climate, the highest temperature even in the summer do not exceed 28 °C. Saputara means the 'Abode of Serpents' and a snake image on the banks of the river Sarpagana is worshiped by the Adivasis on festivals like Holi.
On the journey to Saputara, this package will also give you a chance to visit the historical town of Nasik. This town with its 200 temples and picturesque bathing ghats stands on the banks of the Godavari river. The sites here are associated with stories from the Epic Ramayana and is referred to as 'Rambhumi'. Once every 12 years, the historic 'Kumbh Mela' is held here. Nasik is also known for best quality grapes which has resulted in this town now famous for being one of the top rated wine producers in the world.

Drive from Mumbai to Nasik which is about 200 Kms and a 4 hours’ drive approximately. En-route to Nasik, visit the famous Trimbakeshwar temple. Trimbakeshwar is a small pilgrimage town located on the banks of River Godavari at the foothills of Brahmagiri Mountains near Nasik. The Trimbakeshwar Temple is one among the 12 Jyotirlinga temples of Lord Shiva. Trimbakeshwar Temple is built by Sri Nana Saheb Peshwa in 1755-1786 AD. The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Shiva as Trimbakeshwar. The extraordinary feature of the Jyotirlinga located here is its three faces embodying Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Rudra. Continue your drive to and check in at your hotel in Nasik. In the evening you will visit Kalaram Temple. The temple is dedicated to Lord Rama, who has been enshrined inside the sanctum sanctorum in the form of a black stone idol. The temple was built by Sardar Rangarao Odhekar in 1790 AD. It was said that Odhekar had a dream that the statue of Rama in black colour was in the Godavari River. Odhekar took the statue from the river and built the temple. Also visit Sita Gufaa located near to the temple. Later return back to the hotel. Overnight.

This morning you will be driven from Nasik to Saputara which is about 115 kms. The drive will take about 4 hours. On the way to Saputara, you have the choice of either visiting the Saptshrungi Temple OR Sula Vineyards. The Saptashrungi temple is dedicated to Goddess Saptashrungi. The temple is known popularly as one of the 'three and half Shakti Peethas' of Maharashtra. The temple is also one among the 51 Shakti Peethas located on the Indian subcontinent and is a location where one of Sati's limbs, her right arm is reported to have fallen. It is also believed that the presiding deity of the temple is Mahishasur Mardini, who was the slayer of the demon Mahishasur. At the foot of the hill lies the head of a buffalo, made of stone, which is believed to be that of the demon. One has to climb only 470 steps to reach the shrine, which only takes about 45 minutes. There is also ropeway which is recommended to make the journey quicker. Those interested in a visit to beautiful vineyards and a wine tasting session can add this to the program. Howpever, in order to do this, they need to skip the visit to Saptashrungi temple. A visit to Sula vineyards and winery in Nashik is an enjoyable experience for people of all ages and carefully curated to give you an inside peek into the wine making process while allowing you to make great memories along the way. Check in at the hotel upon arrival in Saputara. In the evening enjoy a boat ride in the lake in Saputara. Overnight

This morning after breakfast, enjoy a ropeway ride in Saputara before heading back to Mumbai. The distance to Mumbai is about 250 Kms. and takes 6 hours approximately.

For domestic tours ( within India) if the tour cost is less or equal to INR25000 PP than 100% amount has to be paid for booking the tour.
