Upon arrival at Jodhpur airport (meeting time 1200 noon ), meet assist and drive to Bikaner. On arrival at Bikaner transfer to hotel. Rest of the time free to you. Walk around your hotel to discover local life. Dinner and overnight stay at Bikaner.
This morning we shall proceed for Bikaner sightseeing – visit beautiful Junagarh Fort followed by visit to Camel breeding farm. Late afternoon excursion to famous Karni Mata Rat temple of Deshnokh. Back to hotel.
This morning we drive to Jaisalmer. its a 330 Kms drive whcih would take 5hr30 min. Upon arrival at Jaisalmer , check in at hotel. Rest of the day free to you , walk around the hotel. Visit the local life. Dinner and overnight stay at Jaisalmer.
Today we shall proceed to visit Jaisalmer sightseeing – visit the massive fort Jaisalmer Fort - rising like a mirage out of the desert. Built in 1156 by the Bhati Rajput ruler Jaisal, Jaisalmer Fort is situated on Meru Hill had seen the scene of many battles. Its massive sandstone walls are a tawny lion colour during the day, turning to a magical honey-gold as the sun sets. This is a living fort and about a quarter of city's population still live inside the fort. The main attractions inside the fort Jain temples and the Laxminath temple. Also visit Patwon Ki Haveli ( Private)- The history of the Patwa Haveli dates back to early eighteenth century, when the patwas were struggling to set up their trade and business. Later patwas rose to such heights that they were called upon to finance the state deficit. Then head of the family, Ghuman Chand Patwa, decided to gift each of his five sons a separate and elaborate mansion. Also visit Nathmal ji Haveli - Nathmal Ji ki Haveli is located in Jaisalmer. This Haveli is famous for its architecture which is quite different from other structures in Jaisalmer.This Nathmal Ji ki haveli was commissioned to serve as the residence of Diwan Mohata Nathmal, the then Prime Minister of Jaisalmer. Maharawal Beri Sal commissioned the construction of this Haveli. Afternoon we shall proceed to sand dunes to enjoy camel ride at sunset followed by cultural programme at camp ( folk music and dance ). Back to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Jaisalmer. Today we shall drive to Jodhpur. Jodhpur - Dominated by the spectacular Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur city is a mass of sky blue coloured cubed houses set against a desert setting. Traditionally blue signified the home of a Brahmin but nowadays anyone can paint their home blue; additionally the colour allegedly is said to repel insects. Rao Jodha founded the Rathore Dynasty in Jodhpur in 1459 AD and the kingdom of Marwar flourished due to its strategic location on the trade route between Delhi and the Middle East. Sandalwood, dates, copper, cattle, camels and salt passed through the City over the centuries. As a legacy of its glorious past, Jodhpur boasts some stunning palaces, forts and temples. Upon arrival in Jodhpur , sightseeing before we check into hotel. Rest of the time free to you. Dinner and overnight stay at Jodhpur.
In time check out from hotel and transfer to Jodhpur airport for your onward flight.(1200 noon)
