How not to overspend on a holiday

We all rue about how we broke our budgets on a holiday. Most feel that they would have done better eliminating a lot of costs which were unforeseen.
Here is a short guide to avoiding breaking the budget limit :
First choose a destination which has flight and visa costs of approximately 30 to 40 percent of your budget. This is what the actual costs for a flight should be. If you spend lesser on flight you will have more for travel in that region on reaching. However if you are spending more you do not tend to have any value as with a flight you are reaching from point A to B and have to still spend on moving around, staying , eating etc, which is a variable cost and depends on your taste and choice.
Second choose a tour operator which gives you an all inclusive deal and not options for which you have to shell out more after you book.
Third , it is better to book everything before you go. It’s more expensive to book last minute and then you might not even get the booking for that favourite activity you wanted to do but waited to see if the price was better or negotiable last Minute.
Fourth, keep at least 10 percent of your budget for extras like shopping, trying new food etc.
Finally the balance is what you should spend on the tour package. How much it is,,, well you do the Maths ????
