The Living Double-decker Root Bridge is a famous attraction in Cherrapunji,along with famous waterfalls. Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary is a wildlife sanctuary on the southern bank of the Brahmaputra in Morigaon district in Assam, India. It was declared in 1987 and covers 38.85 km², providing grassland and wetland habitat for the Indian rhinoceros. Guwahati is a sprawling city beside the Brahmaputra River in the northeast Indian state of Assam. It’s known for holy sites like the hilltop Kamakhya Temple, featuring shrines to the Hindu deities Shiva and Vishnu. Umananda Temple, dedicated to Shiva and covered with engravings, stands on Peacock Island in the river.

In the morning pick up from Guwahati and drive to Pobitora Wildlife sanctuary.Approx. 48 Kms. / 1.5 hrs. Drive Lunch at hotel and check in. Afternoon proceed for jungle safari by shared jeep. Back to hotel. Rest of the time free to you. Dinner at hotel. Overnight at Pobitora.
In the morning you could opt for jungle safari by elephant. Check out from hotel and drive(Approx. 198 Kms. / 5.5 hrs) Drive to Dawki , enroute visit Mawlynnong village – Mawlynnong is cleanest village in Asia , also we shall visit Living root bridge , balancing rock. We shall continue to drive Dawki - In Jaintia Hills, this small town is another nature’s paradise in Meghalaya which is known for its clear and pristine Umngot River. Upon arrival check into hotel. Overnight in Dawki. Optional activity at Dawki river. Check into hotel. Rest of the time is free to you. Overnight in Dawki.
Today we check out from hotel and drive to Cherrapunji (Approx. 85 Kms. / 02.30 hrs. Drive ) - the second wettest place on earth. Upon arrival visit local sightseeing of Cherrapunji - Seven Sister Falls and along with a visit to Mawsmai Cave and the Thangkharang Park. Overnight in Cherapunji.
