Tashkent, ( Or Toshkent in Uzbek), capital of Uzbekistan and the largest city in Central Asia. It is situated at an elevation of 1,475 to 1,575 feet (450 to 480 metres) . The city probably dates from the 2nd or the 1st century BCE and was variously known as Dzhadzh, Chachkent, Shashkent, and Binkent; the name Tashkent, which means “Stone Village” in Uzbek.It is an important centre of trade and handicrafts on the caravan routes to Europe and East Asia.The city’s numerous theatres, Uzbek and Russian, include the Navoi Theatre of Opera and Ballet. There are also a Palace of the Arts and several museums, parks, and stadiums.

Upon arrival in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, you will be welcomed by your Tour Manager and escorted to your hotel. When you get into your coach, just relax,reach yur hotel,check in and take some to refresh yourself. we will be then going to have Lunch. Late afternoon you will proceed on a short drive around the city followed by dinner at an Indian restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast the group will proceed to the conference hall for an award function ceremony. The hall will be set up with basic amenities and a round of Tea/Coffee with cookies will be served (0930-1230 hrs) After the ceremony we will be transferred to an Indian restaurant for lunch. After lunch, we will proceed on a half day city tour of Tashkent. Tashkent is one of the oldest and largest cities in Central Asia, the Uzbek capital since 1930, and very much a showpiece of Soviet and post-soviet architecture. Afternoon We start exploring the capital by going back in time - to visit the old town: Barak Khana Seminary, Tila Shaikh mosque and their archives, known for a rare copy of the Koran written by the third Caliph Osman. Later we will continue to Chorsu bazaar, the oldest market in Tashkent and Kukeldash Madrassah. Enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant. Stay at the hotel at Tashkent
After breakfast, we again leave for a half day tour of the “Museum of Applied Arts” Tashkent. The Museum of Applied Arts is situated in the former home of Imperial Russian diplomat Alexander Polovtsev. A grand mansion decorated in traditional Uzbek style, the museum has a superb collection of applied arts – no one in Central Asia does it better than Uzbeks. Polovtsev was an avid collector of handicrafts and his personal possessions still form the heart of the collection. Later enjoy lunch at an Indian restaurant. After lunch we will enjoy shopping at a shopping mall called “Samarkand Darvoza” Samarkand Darvoza is the largest family complex catering for all needs of the market under one roof. It is unique in its concept being the first shopping mall opened in 2014 with international standards Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out of the rooms at 1200 hrs. Morning half day city tour Tashkent. Lunch at an Indian restaurant. After lunch enjoy shopping malls and small bazaars. In the evening you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to India.
