Itinerary

Upon arrival at Srinagar airport, you will be met by our representative at the airport and transfer you to your Houseboat.  Upon Upon arrival at the houseboat you will be welcomed with a cup of Kahwa (Kashmiri Tea) with local cookies.  we will enjoy local  sightseeing at Srinagar. we  proceed directly to Nishat bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar bagh (Abode of love), Cheshma Shahi (Royal Spring) and Shankracharaya temple Shiva temple where from you will enjoy to see the panoramic view of the entire Srinagar city and lakes, later visit to Kashmir Handicrafts centre where you will enjoy to see the Kashmir handicrafts centre and you enjoy a leisure time for shopping .   In the afternoon you will proceed on Shikara ride on Dal Lake which is famous for its own beauty and known as Venice of India. You will be visiting interesting places around the lake and Persian Handicrafts centre where the Paper mache is manufactured and you will be seeing its demonstration. Return to the houseboat after the Shikara ride for dinner and overnight stay.

Today we shall enjoy the day excursion to Gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful  resorts in the valley.  If you wish you can  Enjoy the Gondola ride (cable car) for 01st phase ( at your own cost).  Gulmarg is also   popular    for  its   golf course (in summer), the highest in the world and  skiing during the winter season ( At your own cost ). In the evening return back to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Srinagar.   

After breakfast Today we shall drive to  Pahalgam (93 Kms / 2 1/2 hours drive) which is 2440 Mtrs above sea level. This region is also know as the vale of Kashmir. On the way we can see Saffron fields, (flowering in October and November) and continue drive to  Avantipur ruins which has 1100 years old ruins and  small Cricket bat factories and Mattan temple known as Suria Mandir where you will enjoy to see the thousands of holy fishes in the fresh water spring. Pahalgam was once upon a time the most famous place for Indian Film Industry.  With all the scenic memeories captured we will drive back to Srinagar.Dinner and overnight at the hotel. After breakfast we will proceed to a full day excursion to Sonmarg on of the most beautiful drive from Srinagar On the way we stop at many beautiful spots to take memorable pics. Continue to drive to Sonmarg 2690 Mtrs( Meadow of Gold). One can ride an horse ( pony) to visit to Thajiwas glacier where snow remains round the year. Sonmarg is known as Gateway to Laddakh. In the evening drive back to Srinagar. Dinner ad overnight at Srinagar. HIGHLIGHTS:  # Meadows of Gold

This morning you will be met in time to transfer you to the airport for your flight back home.
